A solar water heater is essentially an energetic solar system that exploits solar energy to heat the water in a home or any other building. It is therefore an alternative to hot water production, which is perfectly environmentally friendly and is ideal for areas with high sunshine.

Solar water heaters consist of two main parts, the collectors and the water storage tank (boiler). The water can either be heated by the sun and the electricity (dual energy) or by the boiler or the heat pump (triple energy).
